Cine Las Americas is honored to announce the award winners of the 20th annual Cine Las Americas International Film Festival. Cine Las Americas announced the award winners on Sunday, May 7, at the closing ceremonies, bringing an end to five film and event-filled days celebrating the work of Latinx and Indigenous filmmakers.
The full list of award winners follows, as presented by Festival Director Jean Anne Lauer, Film Program Associate Elena Bessire, and jury members Celeste Quesada, Tracy Rector, Alex Barron, Alan McLane-Alejos, and Iliana Sosa.

Jury for the 20th Cine Las Americas IFF
The Feature Film Jury was comprised of Alex Barron (Professor, St. Edward’s University; Board Member, OUTsider), Tracy Rector (E.D. and Co-founder of Longhouse Media; City of Seattle Arts Commissioner), and María Inés Roqué (Director of Production and Training at Ambulante Más Allá). The Hecho en Tejas juror was Celeste Quesada, a co-founder of Cine Las Americas. The Short Film Jury was comprised of Cine Las Americas Film Selection Committee members Alan McLane-Alejos, Iliana Sosa, and Joan Tuttle Vargas.
