Synopsis: In his latest uncompromising (nearly 3-hour!) film, the writer-director Carlos Reygadas and his real-life wife Natalia López play a married couple who own and operate a ranch for breeding fighting bulls in the rural Mexican countryside. They are cultured and literate people – he is also a well-known poet – and they have an open marriage. When the rules of this sexual arrangement begin to fray, so does the trust at the heart of their partnership.

Synopsis: For most of his life, Ignacio traveled the villages of Colombia, playing songs on his accordion, a legendary instrument said to have once belonged to the devil. He eventually married and settled in a small town, leaving his nomadic life behind. But after the death of his wife, he vows to never play the cursed accordion again and embarks on one last journey to return the instrument to its proper owner. Nominated by Colombia to the 82nd Academy Awards.
