About the Film
WANDERING LIVES is a 1985 film directed by Juan Antonio de la Riva. It won three Ariel awards, including best film, best lead actor, and best original screenplay. It also received awards at the San Sebastian International Film Festival, the Bogotá film biennial and at La Habana, Cuba, International Film Festival of New Latin American Cinema.

Special Guest: Carlos González Gutiérrez, the Consul General of Mexico in Austin and who will become the new Consul General of Mexico in San Diego in the next few months, pending ratification by the Mexican Senate.
