The night guard at a construction site is interrogated about a crime he witnessed, that had taken place the previous night down the street from his booth. After being questioned by police and falling into contradictory statements with his partner, a series of strange situations begin to take hold in what becomes a very long and extraordinary night.

Biofilmography
Before going into writing and directing, Diego held a long career as an editor and post producer, participating in a wide range of projects, from Mexican telenovelas and high end commercial TV spots, to independent dramatic features and documentary shorts. These experiences were very helpful when making his own movie. Working from a grant by the Mexican Film Institute, EL VIGILANTE is Diego’s first effort as writer, director and producer. It received Best Film and Best Actor awards at the Morelia International Film Festival.
