Voices and images from Havana reflect on history, identity, newness, and the future, in a time of internal transitions and a charged geopolitical climate. Edited to musical excerpts from the Antilles Violin Concerto, an epic and atmospheric work composed by Guido López Gavilán, with Cuban folkloric references, text from poet Nicolás Guillén, and themes of Cuban Afro/Euro identity, performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, and first violin Ilmar López Gavilán.
