Amongst the mountains of Chiapas a rural school teacher is dedicated to sowing the seeds of learning in a group of fifty Tseltal children of different ages. This is the story of a teacher who has been a father to the children of the community and who has made the school a second home for all of them.

Biofilmography

Melissa ElizondoIn 2010 Melissa Elizondo entered the University Center of Cinematographic Studies of the UNAM, where she completed her first feature documentary film entitled THE SOWER. She has collaborated in feature films from La Media Luna Producciones, CUEC-UNAM and Once TV México. Her short films have screened at international festivals such as the Original Narrative Student Short Film Festival in Dubai, the Lebu International Film Festival, the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, Cuba, and at the Trento Film Festival in Italy.
