About the Film: EL LUGAR SIN LÍMITES (THE PLACE WITHOUT LIMITS) is a 1977 film by Mexican renowned director Arturo Ripstein. It is considered to be the first film to really address sexual diversity in Mexico. It is also considered to be one of the best film in Mexico's cinema history.

The LA Times described the film as "pure enchantment, a beguiling tale of love, faith and self-discovery told in a colorful, effortless folkloric style by Alejandro Springall." It is based on the novel SANTITOS, by María Amparo Escandón.
