About the Film: POISON FOR THE FAIRIES is a 1984 film written and directed by Carlos Enrique Taboada. It won 5 Silver Ariel Awards, including best film, best photography, best director, best editing, and best sound mixing, as well as a Golden Bochica, from Colombia's International Film Festival. It is considered a classic of Mexico's cinema from the 80s.
