Luis (72) is the owner of a little grocery store that suffers a sudden downturn when a supermarket sets up in his neighborhood and he is told that he’ll no longer be provided with bread. The man faces a crossroads: close the store, or find another bread supplier to keep his business open. NO HAY PAN has charmed audiences throughout Chile and internationally, winning Best Directing at the 9th Rengo International Film Festival and the Jury Prize for National Short Film at FEMCINE.
