The French expression “femmes de ménage” can mean two things: first, housekeepers; second, the movement of women. Filmed in Spain, France, and Portugal by a Brazilian director, this is a short film about three women from different countries who have moved out of their homelands and now work as housekeepers. Originally, FEMMES DE MÉNAGE was produced as part of Borderline, a program in the San Sebastián Festival, where it had its world premiere.
