After an extended stint in a rehabilitation center, Joli returns home. Her father Antônio is a famous politician in town and is particularly concerned about her behavior and reintegration into society. This is where father and daughter will try to restore their broken ties.

About the director

Daniel AragaoDaniel Aragão, born in Recife, is one of the most active directors of the new generation in Pernambuco, Brazil. His first feature film BOA SORTE, MEU AMOR accumulated numerous awards all over the world, including the Young Jury Award for Best Film at the 2012 Locarno Film Festival. His short films have won awards at many festivals around the world including Hamburg, Locarno, Clermont-Ferrand and IDFA. In 2007, he was invited by the Berlin Film Festival to take part in Berlinale Talents.
