An unconventional story boldly told interweaving Manga-style animation with live action. When Ana, a state employee, discovers that the police in Argentina are controlled by the Chinese mafia she fights to reveal the truth. With her life at risk she flees the city towards the Pampas, ending up in an abandoned field flooded with genetically-altered carnivorous rabbits. What she finds there may just take down the mafia. If she can make it out alive…. In the past year, MUJER CONEJO has flourished on the festival circuit, appearing at the Palm Springs and San Sebastián International Film Festivals.

About the director
Verónica Chen was born in Buenos Aires and grew up in Texas. She graduated as a Director at ENERC. In 1998, her short thesis film EZEIZA won Best Fiction and Best Cinematography at the São Paulo Film Festival. In 2001, her first feature-length film SMOKERS ONLY premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Chen is a member of the Argentine Film Academy.
