Germán Oesterheld, writer of EL ETERNAUTA, ERNIE PIKE, and other well-known graphic novels, is in search of a publisher for his work. Until Germán’s arrival, the stories chosen for the publishing house were simple, straight-forward narratives in which the bay guys are stereotypically Indians, Cubans, or aliens. The new writer sparks a revolution among the publishers, writers, and illustrators, who feel a mix of jealousy and attraction towards Germán. His presence leaves a mark on everyone at the publishing house, while outside, the dictatorship begins to cast a dark, repressive shadow. Eventually, he has to hide to continue to write his stories, which, little by little, begin to affect those around him. Manuel Angel Solá and Paula Reca star in this fictional account of the life of renowned graphic novelist, Germán Oesterheld.
