EL CUARTO DESNUDO offers a glimpse of a whole world without leaving a single space: the consultation room in a children’s hospital in Mexico City. Listening to children, their parents, and their doctors during consultations, the film exposes a profound and extreme social reality in Mexico. But it is not only a portrait of a single city or country. Through these fragile children, the film speaks of the fragility of human nature. After having its world premiere at FIC UNAM, this documentary went on to win Best Documentary and Best Documentary by a Woman at the Morelia International Film Festival last year.
