Through a dialogue between its formal elements and its characters, THE SOLITUDE OF MEMORY constructs a profound meditation on memory and grief. José, Nando’s father, remembers repeatedly the last words that he spoke to his son before Nando decided to take his own life. José then lives his days without Nando in a remarkably personal film, charged with poetry and introspection.
