Two sisters, Ati and Mindhiva, are part of the Arhuaca tribe, a pre-Columbian indigenous group located in Colombia. Their dream is to continue with their university studies, but they have no money and it is impossible for them to enter into the Colombian national university. ATI Y MINDHIVA describes their struggle and determination to achieve their goals, while staying connected to their home culture and family.

About the director
Claudia Fischer is a Colombian artist and graduate of the École des Beux-Arts, Paris. She has worked as a painter, furniture designer, and art director/producer for TV series and movies. Two years ago, Ati and Mindhiva came to Claudia seeking help to achieve their dreams. She decided to record them with a small HD camera, to relate this story of Arhuaca women of the Sierra who want to get a higher education.
