EL MARINERO Y LA SIRENA is a song featured on the 4th studio album WORTH IT by Patricia Vonne. Shot entirely with stop motion photography using original drawings to tell the tale of the sailor and the mermaid. The sailor is forced to walk the plank into shark-infested waters and is saved by the mermaid who spins him to the surface with a kiss of life. Dream sequences ensue and are folded into the reality that the sailor belongs to the land, and the mermaid belongs to the sea, so sadly they can never be. “Hear the cry of destiny… of an ardent, wounded love.” Music, lyrics and illustrations were created by Patricia Vonne and Michael Martin.
