Featured in this film are a tragic story of a man hurt by bullying, a black comedy about two women involved in an unintentional crime, and a melodrama about a daughter who needs a heart to survive. The characters of these stories are confronted with heartbreaking hurdles to overcome, each linked by the brutality of a city that is anything but merciful.
