After Alfredo Jimenez receives a phone call indicating that the woman he abandoned on the day of their wedding has been kidnapped, he decides to return to his hometown in Northern Mexico in hopes of finding her. Before he reaches his final destination, he will have to confront the dangers of a road dominated by drug cartels and a ghost whose own marriage never took place. Based on the myth of La Llorona, LA DAMA Y EL CABALLO was a part of the Official Selection at the 2012 Oaxaca FilmFest.
