Cine Las Americas presents the 27th annual Cine Las Americas International Film Festival to be held on May 14-18, 2025 in Austin, TX, USA. The festival will showcase new releases, narratives, documentaries, shorts, music videos, and a special Hecho en Tejas (Made in Texas) presentation. A diverse array of Latiné/xs, Indigenous, Latin American and Ibero-American stories will be represented and awards will be given in both juried and audience favorite categories. The in-person festival will take place in Austin, TX over 5 days with red carpets and special events, providing valuable exposure for filmmakers and opportunities for the audience to experience great showcases of films.
New this year! Cine Las Americas is excited to offer a conference with panels and filmmaking resources. On top of that, our popular section for filmmakers under 19 years of age will have their own full-day festivity, the inaugural Emergente Youth International Film Festival the following weekend on May 24, 2025!
