Experience five days of incredible films, red carpets, and special events at the 27th annual Cine Las Americas International Film Festival, May 14-18, 2025, in Austin, TX, USA. Showcasing storytelling rooted in the vibrant cultures of Latine/x, Indigenous, Latin American, and Ibero-American communities, the festival features narratives, documentaries, shorts, music videos, and the beloved Hecho en Tejas showcase. Discover new voices, connect with filmmakers, and step into a community shaped by nearly three decades of cinema, culture, and creative exchange!
New this year!
We’re proud to introduce a 2-day conference welcoming filmmakers and film enthusiasts. Featuring fireside chats, hands-on workshops, and roundtable discussions with both emerging and established filmmakers, the conference creates space to share knowledge, build networks, and affirm the growing presence of Latine/x and Indigenous voices in the film industry.
Additionally, our popular section for filmmakers under 19 is now its own full-day festivity. This new platform honors youth-driven stories as a vital force, bringing their work to the big screen with the recognition and care it deserves. The inaugural Emergente Youth International Film Festival will be held the following weekend on May 24, 2025!
Our All Access Film Badge gets you priority entrance to all the films and after-parties including Opening Night and our popular Hecho en Tejas Screening & Party!
PLUS: don’t miss the newest addition to CLAIFF—add the conference at checkout for just $25 more!
After a successful pilot program just for filmmakers last year, we’re thrilled to present the first CLAIFF conference open to the public! This badge gives you access to all panels and workshops.
Please note: the All Access Conference Badge does not include films or after-parties. Check out with a Film Badge to get the full experience at a $25 discount!
Access is at the heart of our mission. That’s why a third of our screenings are always free and open to the public—no badge needed. It’s one of our favorite ways to celebrate community, culture, and cinema with as many people as possible.
Additional festival gatherings will be announced hosted at Vaquero Taquero (603 Sabine St, Austin, TX 78701) and Lima Criolla (6406 N Interstate 35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78752).
