Rafaela, a young nun in a precarious congregation, is haunted by a recurring dream. When she is sent to a nearby town in search of the new archbishop, she encounters people whose struggles with faith, wealth, and purpose mirror her own. Karla Badillo is a director, producer, and screenwriter. She is the director of the short film No Returns (2019), an Official Selection in Competition at the Guadalajara International Film Festival FICG (2019) and an Official Selection at the Dumbo Film Festival, NY (2019). As a producer, her films have premiered at Cannes and San Sebastian.
