Trish Vasquez is a strategy, operations, marketing, publicity, and distribution executive with extensive experience in film, awards, and issue-driven projects. With over 25 years of experience creating and executing B2B and B2C campaigns, her expertise spans theatrical, digital, and specialized releases. A UCLA graduate and fluent in Spanish, Trish has worked on over 70 studio award campaigns, production and marketing on hundreds of independent films, and worldwide launches and events.

Panelist
Marta Méndez Cross is a writer, director, producer, and actress whose work focuses on emotionally driven storytelling that expands Latinx representation. Born in the Panama to an Irish American father and Costa Rican mother, she was raised between Costa Rica, Germany, and Texas, and graduated from UT Austin with a degree in Public Relations and Latin American Media Studies. She built a diverse television career across ABC, CBS, NBC, Showtime, and Comedy Central, with credits including Off the Map, NCIS: Los Angeles, Criminal Minds, and Hallmark’s Feliz Navidad, the network’s first Latinx Christmas drama. She produced and starred in Land of Shadowed Sand, winner of the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival, and wrote and produced Las Tres Sisters with Cristo Fernández. Her Oscar-qualifying short iChild, created with Sony Entertainment and Women in Film, is currently being developed into a feature film. She also serves on the board of Enrichment Works, bringing professional theater to students across Los Angeles.
