Cine Las Americas’ Emergencia Youth films created at AISD Mendez Middle School’s Community Love Hub this summer will kick off the festivities at this free community event! Local author Miguel Antony Briones will follow with an exciting live reading of his lucha libre wrestling-themed book Macho No Machismo. Then, get ready to turn up the heat as the party heads outside to bring literacy to life with live lucha libre wrestling matches brought to you by Premier Event Wrestling/Lucha Libre!

Transportation will be provided to and from the event, with pick up and drop off at Allison Elementary, Govalle Elementary, and Martin Middle. Transportation will run from 12:15 PM to 4:30 PM.
