The Extortion
- Alejandro is an experienced airline pilot. He loves his profession but is hiding a secret: a medical condition that would mean immediate retirement. Intelligence Service agents discover it and they start blackmailing him, demanding he take some mysterious bags on the Buenos Aires-Madrid route, no questions asked. Vigilant because of the enigmatic cargo he’s carrying, Alejandro is soon submerged in a universe of intrigue and corruption, placing him and his loved ones in danger, while he attempts to escape alive, no matter the price.
DIRECTOR(S)Martino Zaidelis
DIRECTOR(S) BIOGRAPHYMartino Zaidelis was born in Buenos Aires in 1977. He was a partner and director in the 100 Bares production company since 2005. He was producer and director for the Paramount + “Los Enviados” series’ first and second seasons, starring Miguel Angel Silvestre and Luis Gerardo Méndez. In 2018, he directed one of Argentina’s most successful movies of the year, the motion picture “RE LOCA”, starring Natalia Oreiro. He was Executive Producer of the TV fiction series “Entre Caníbales,” distributed by SONY and co-produced with Argentina’s TELEFE channel. He directed and produced the TV fiction miniseries “El hombre de tu vida” for TELEFE and HBO. He directed several documentaries and reality shows and was awarded the Martin Fierro prize as Best TV Director in 2012 and 2013.
