Celebrating Spanish Cinema: LA INFILTRADA & Reception

After several years undercover, lurking in the circles of the Abertzale left as she pretends to be a young sympathizer of the ETA terrorist group, a police officer finally gets the chance she’s been gunning for: ETA gets in touch with her. They need to use her apartment for two ETA members whose objective is to prepare several attacks. The most difficult mission of her life begins now: to inform her superiors while cohabitating with two terrorist who, if at any point they suspect her, would kill her at the drop of a hat.

Biography(s):

Arantxa Echevarría is a film and television director, screenwriter and producer who, in 2018, became the first Spanish film director to be selected in the Directors' Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival for her debut film 'Carmen y Lola' (Golden Violet at the 23rd Cinespaña Festival in Toulouse, and winner of 2 Goyas for Best Director, Best New Director and Best Supporting Actress). In addition, she directed for TVE "Cuestión de Pelotas", a documentary about women footballers and most recently directed titles such as ‘Una Familia Perfecta’ and ‘Chinas’.
