Synopsis
Determined to protect his loved ones from the evils of the world, Gabriel (Claudio Brook) keeps them locked up at home, where his wife Beatriz (Rita Macedo) and their children help run the family business- making rat poison. Based on a real case that occurred in 1950s Mexico City, EL CASTILLO DE LA PUREZA (THE CASTLE OF PURITY) is a poignant exploration of the consequences of extreme paternal control.
