About the feature: MY BOLIVIA, REMEMBERING WHAT I NEVER KNEW
A Latino filmmaker travels to Bolivia to find the things his parents told him, and what they never mentioned… the family’s slave-owning past, his grandfather the President’s role in Latin America’s bloodiest war, the relative who was one of the leaders of the Revolution, and connections with a Nazi war criminal… all a far cry from growing up in California and living a life as an activist. MY BOLIVIA, REMEMBERING WHAT I NEVER KNEW is the winner of the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature at the 21st Cine Las Americas International Film Festival.

About the short: SIGO ACÁ (I’M STILL HERE)
Johnny (56) and Julia (87) are a son and mother who only have each other. SIGO ACÁ explores the unconditional relationship of a mother and son, a relationship that keeps them together physically and mentally, and transcends the effects of time. SIGO ACÁ (I’M STILL HERE) is the winner of the Jury Award for Best Documentary Short at the 21st Cine Las Americas International Film Festival.
