Divers are getting sick in a fishing community of Nicaragua. They descend into the sea looking for lobsters and return to the surface with their bodies paralyzed. Without an explanation for a disease never before seen in the community, the old men speak out to indicate that divers have angered the mermaid.

Luis Rincón Luis Rincón studied Communication at the Iberoamerican University. He received support from FONCA for his project MÉXICO BÁRBARO 2010. His feature documentary EL ÁRBOL OLVIDADO was nominated for an Ariel award and won Best Mexican Feature Documentary at DocsMx.
