Fall 2019 & Spring 2020 Positions Now Available

Cine Las Americas is a non-profit organization dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of Latinx, Iberoamerican, and American Indigenous film in Austin, Texas. The 23rd annual Cine Las Americas International Film Festival will take place May 6 – 10, 2020.

Now is your chance to get involved in an international event that unites amazing films, talented filmmakers and passionate audiences in Austin, Texas. Intern or volunteer with Cine Las Americas and do your part to support diversity and artistic excellence!

Internships are valuable ways to earn experience in a field as well as professional contacts. Internships are non-paid and part-time. To officially serve as an Intern, University or College Internship Credit must be earned with appropriate oversight and in accordance with the institution’s degree plans. Successful Interns earn all-access credentials to the festival or other Cine Las Americas events, as well as recommendations for future job employment at Cine or elsewhere.

If you are interested in joining the team in a part-time capacity, but are unable to serve as an Intern, we welcome your service as a seasonal Volunteer. Seasonal volunteers who work regular hours in the festival office for three or more months gain the same experience as Interns, as they are expected to keep regular volunteer hours. Volunteers may earn all-access credentials to the festival or other Cine Las Americas events, as well as recommendations for future job employment at Cine or elsewhere.
