Angela De Hoyos Hart is the IT Project Manager at General Motors and a regular volunteer at River Oaks Elementary in Pflugerville ISD. Angela helped found and now helps coordinate GM’s STEM mentorship program at the school. During the program, GM mentors tutor fourth and fifth grade students in math and science topics.

THE TRAIL is the story of a girl forced to walk an empty trail in the woods between her house and school because the City of Austin has yet to build walkable paths for students in the neighborhood. This is based on the true story of the Eastside Memorial High School students who have had to walk this trail for decades, and was shot on location at the trail site.
