BUSCANDO A GASTÓN is a tour of Peruvian gastronomy on the heels of chef Gastón Acurio, in his quest to use cuisine as a catalyst for change in his country. The documentary shares stories, dreams and flavors from a country caught up day to day in the power of cuisine.

About the director
After almost ten years of experience in television and film production in Peru, Patricia Perez landed a Fulbright scholarship to obtain a Masters in Film Studies in the USA. She currently lives and works in L.A. and also directs and produces documentaries in her country of origin. Her first film, MISTURA: THE POWER OF FOOD, screened at several international festivals, as well as in the US on networks including Nat Geo and Direct TV.
