Join Café Tacvba as they travel throughout the world on planes and buses, pass time in hotels and dressing rooms, and work through the creative process. This documentary offers a revelatory and intimate glimpse into the friendship and frustrations of the most important band in Mexico. Go behind-the-scenes with the individuals who compose the band, as well as create their on-stage presence, as they celebrate their 20th anniversary of being Café Tacvba.
US Premiere
Ernesto Contreras, a graduate of the CUEC-UNAM in Mexico, is director of Párpados azules, which was nominated for the Camera D'Or award in the 60th Cannes Film Festival, and won numerous awards at other festivals.
José Manuel Craviotto, also a graduate of the CUEC-UNAM, is an award-winning short film director, and recently released his first feature, Los últimos heroes de la península.
